MEXICAN OAXACA FOODS - PASSAIC, NJ
This project was to remove the two exhaust fans and install an electrostatic precipitator for the pork skin frying operations. The plant was located in a light industrial neighborhood and approval was achieved after several community meetings where we gave expert testimony. Hood was not UL listed, so 375 CFM per linear foot was designed and appropriate sized precipitator was installed. Ampco IVSI-1 grease duct was utilized going to the precipitator for aesthetics and to keep grease from leaking on roof. Exhaust fan was rated at 75 dBA and located at end of roof to reduce noise exposure for neighbors
